"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 16

7210_1.jpg stone cold heart image by animekitten1992

Darcy seemed alright with walking to the graveyard, but not so okay with the surprise visit by WiL. She eyed him the whole walk down to the cemetery, not letting Val get that close to him, like he was a plague.

The night was still young, and cold. The silence between the three of them was eerie. The heavy breathing that the two girls produced was irriataed, but they were the ones that were actually breathing. That's what you get for being dead.

Val had so many questions, but her voice escaped her at the moment. She was waiting for him to give her some sort of hint to start asking the questions.

They grew closer to the cemetery. The eeriness became more aggravating. She had to say something. A question? A Statement? A compliment? Maybe...

"So," Val said, clearing her voice. "Ummm...you're dead."

"Yeah, I think we've already covered that the other night, Val." he smiled.

"But...then....I don't get it. It still confuses me." Val confessed.

"I'll tell you more when we get to the cemetery." He replied to her confession.

"But, not many dead people go to 7/11." Val added.

"Unusual circumstances brought me there." He explained.

"Like what?" Darcy finally joined in.

"Just...something..."

He grew silent after that. It took about 5 minutes to get to the cemetery. But it seemed like a lifetime.

Val could only guess where they were going to. Not the mausolem....his house....at the top of the hill with the roses.

The roses. Val remembered the rose she took...it wilted then came back to life. She wanted to kow the secret about the roses too.

"Val, where's he taking us?" Darcy whispered in her ear.

"Probably to his house. The one on the top of the hill overlooking the cemtery." Val replied.

"Creepy." Darcy whispered under her breath.

WiL was their silent leader. This had creeped Val out, was he up to something?

They all made it halfway through the maze of tombstones. But they weren't even close to the house. Everything seemed to go in slow motion.

"Watch out for open graves," WiL warned. "They're hard to get out of."

"Well...i tend to fall.........oh fuck monkey..."

"Val?" Darcy said.

"Down here!" she snickered. "I forgot to watch out for open graves. Um...how do I get out?"

"Give me your hand." WiL said.

Val did what he said. She extended her hand out toward his and felt his cold, deathly hand grip hers as he pulled her up from the grave.

"You're strong." Val said.

"Yeah, well, I'm beginning to think that I should carry you both across the cemtery so I don't have to pull you out of graves."

"Well, her at least," Darcy gritted. "I'm perfectly coordinated."

"Okay then."

WiL unexpectedly threw Val over his shoulders and started to walk back into the direction they were headed. All Val could hear was the blood rushing to her head and Darcy laughing at her because Val was wearing a skirt.

"This is so embarassing...." Val muttered.

Sleep Talking

haha...this is funny...a bit

My mom came home late...and i sleep on the couch (don't wanna get into about why i sleep on the couch) and she walked through the door and she told me i sad:

"Mom? Mom? Is that you Mom?"

she said yes and asked me if i was awake.

Then apparently i said:

"Mom, you can't do that. You're doing that wrong! No mom! The sword is gonna fly through the window!"

then she asked me if it flew through the window and i said no and she asked me where it went and i said I don't know.

Then, her bf called her and she said "Hello Hunny."

and apparently i said:

"Mom, I already said Hi."

I don't really remember what i was dreaming about...but I know I saw Jacoby Shaddix in my dream and i don't remember a sword....maybe I was subconsciously trying to talk to her about my problems? I don't know....it's confusing....

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 15

0023.gif Gothic image by DeadPandaINC

"Val, are you crazy? Cordelia is gonna kill you!" Darcy yelled at her best friend over the phone.

"Look, Darcy, I haven't seen them in two days! I have to know what they are!" Val exaggerated.

"Don't you already know what they are?"

"Yes, but I have so many questions and it's still a bit unclear to me." Val exclaimed.

"Look, it might be a little dangerous for you to go. That's all I'm saying. I don't wanna see you get hurt."

"I know," Val sighed. "How about you come with me?"

"I don't..."

"So you can get a look at them too. To see if they're safe for me to be around. And for you to know too. Please, Darcy..." Val begged.

"Fine," she sighed heavily. "When?"

"I have work tonight and I work late. So....how about you meet me there?"

"Fine...but we're gonna stop a 7/11 quickly and get some snacks...okay?"

"Fine, see you later."

"Bye."

****************************************************************************

It was now about 11:30 at night. Val was patiently waiting for her friend outside of the dim lighted Starbucks. It was surprisingly chilly and again she forgot her coat. She watched the streets, looking for Darcy. The streets seemed naked without the cars on flying down it.

Val watched her breath as it was visible in front of her face. Her ears were a light pink color and so was her nose and cheeks. She looked like a ghost waiting out in the dark. Her hair was a bit messy, but not much. The cold was now getting to her.

All of a sudden, coming from down the street, was Darcy's black Jeep coming her way. Val sighed in releif. She thought that Darcy wasn't able to come.

"Hey!" Darcy chuckled as she approached Val in her Jeep. "You need a ride? You're really hot."

"Shut up, Darcy!" Val giggled. "Alright, lets go. It's really cold."

"7/11 first?"

"Duh." Val said closing the passenger side door.

They drove down the street, singing Pop Destroyed The Scene by Rookie if the Year.

"So I brushed the hair from my eyes. Turn to quickly," They sang in harmony. "The sooner I stop it will be over. As I leave, you simply rescue me. And bring me closer and whisper and say...."

"Oh!" Darcy pointed out. "7/11! I want Hot Fries!"

"Fine," Val said as they pulled into the parking lot. "But make it quick! And get me a pepsi and hot fries too."

"You're not coming in?"

"No, I'm gonna stay in here and defrost a bit more."

"Okay. I'll be back in like 5 minutes..."

Val layed back in her seat, relaxing her mind, letting it wonder until Darcy came back.

Val kept thinking about WiL and the guys. She kept thinking about their flawless faces and deep voices and graceful movements. And the murder. The gruesome murder. Or murders that she saw them commit. She wanted to know more about them. Everything she can.

There was a knock on her window, but it seemed so distant. Val sank lower in her seat. She felt as if she were falling asleep nut she was wide awake. Her mind seemed to wonder but her thoughts stayed on the same subject. The Cursed as WiL called him and the others.

"Val." she heard someone call. "Val wake up."

"WiL?" she mumbled.

"Val? Are you awake?"

"Yes." She answered. "WiL?"

"Yes, it's me."

"What are you doing here?"

"Looking for you."

"I have to wait for Darcy."

"Why?" he asked.

"She wants to meet you all." Val sighed, opening her eyes.

"I don't know."

"Don't worry, she won't tell."

"Okay," WiL said opening the door and unbuckling Val's seatbelt. "She's checking out. Let's go."

"What are you doing? She can drive us there." Val said confused.

"No, Its okay. It's only a block away."

"But it's cold." Val complained.

"Hold on," WiL unbuttened his coat and wrapped it around her. "There, now we go."

"What the hell?" Darcy said approaching the Jeep.

"Oh, Darcy, this is WiL."

Stabbed by Broken Dreams- a poem i wrote

bleeding.jpg BLEEDING image by skatha_x

Wondering in the woods, cold and alone

screaming for help as you bleed

out of your mouth.

But if you're screaming, in the

middle of the woods and no ones around,

Do you make a sound?

You carry yourself as you fall,

traveling through the woods bleeding.

Shattered by broken dreams,

stabbed by the shards they left behind.

Screaming, bleeding, losing your voice.

Crying, pleading for God to save you.

This can't be happening, not now.

Why is this happening?

Scream.

Maybe someone will hear you.

Scream.

Maybe someone will save you.

But if you're screaming, in the

middle of the woods and no ones around,

Do you make a sound?

R.I.P. Casey....

It's such a tragedy that you died...so young too! But we all love you so much and you will be dearly missed...not just by me but by thousands of other people too. You were a great guitarist, son, friend, and everything else. We all love you so very much and I hope, we hope, that you are okay now and that you are resting peacefully.

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 14

rose20blood.jpg bloddy rose image by crimsonrosemuzic

"Immortal? What do you mean exactly?" Val asked.

"You know, can't be destroyed. Impervious to any weapon of any sort...like that." WiL replied as they were headed back to the mausolem.

"But...so you don't have any weaknesses?"

"Like a vampire with the sun and a stake? Yeah, we do. But that's nothing to discuss now."

"But I still don't understand that much. I mean, how did you become...immortal?" she questioned.

"Another time for that. " he whispered.

"Why?"

"I can see your brother in law," he said. "He's looking for you and he's worried and so is your sister."

"I'm gonna get my ass whooped," Val frowned. "Maybe tomorrow night?"

"Maybe. I better go and plus, the guys need help cleaning up that body," he chuckled. "Goodbye, love."

He bent forward a bit and kissed val on the forehead and took off faster than she had ever seen anyone run.

"Bye." she smiled.

Val turned around and became face-to-face with her sister.

"Oh, hi Cordelia. What are you doing here?" she blushed.

"Nice try, Valkyari Marie Wyatt. You get your scrawny ass home so we can have a nice long fuckin talk!" Cordelia yelled.

"Whatever." Val breathed.

"Don't you whatever me, young lady! You will be respectful! I was worried about you! You could've been killed! But nooooo you went anyways!" Cordy mothered.

"Just stop it, Cor. You're not mom. Leave me alone." Val quickened her pace, a step faster than her sisters, trying to avoid her.

"I'm not trying to be mom. I was worried. You're my sister and I love you. I don't want anything bad to happen to you, sis."

"I know. And I love you too. But I'm my own person and I don't need anybody bossing me around. I wanna do things by myself."

"I know you do! I wanted to do things on my own too! But you've got responsibilities, Val! You've got responsibilities to not only yourself but to the others around you! I don't wanna bury my sister." Cordelia sobbed.

"Can we just go home," Val halted. "I wanna get some rest, please."

Untitled Poem I wrote...

37571c3a3ccb.jpg gothic eyes image by XvannahX_07

This is not a haven safe for me

Nor the salvation that I seek

All these years, you've made me weak

Now, there's nothing that can be done

to repair the damages in my heart

I can see now, but only a little

For all these years, you've perpetuated the

fears of you I have and had.

But now I see, you're nothing but a craven,

a coward, to gibe small children and the woman

you claimed you loved.

Can't you see, now?

All th epain you've caused?

All the pain you've left behind?

Are you man enough to admit your trechories?

Or are you simply a fool to admit nothing?

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 13

1766700.jpg Blood image by dominik1024

Val stood in fear. Were they really going to kill again? Wouldn't people notice that these men are missing? Don't they know of the danger they put themselves through? Don't they have a soul?

Her heart started to beat as the wind started to blow very heavily and the man at the top of the hill was still unaware of the comapny in the brush and bushes. Should she warn him? Should she save his life? Will they kill her if she does?

There's a dilemma at play. What should she do?

Val started towards the hill, quickening her pace with every step she took. She noticed that the noises started to go faster. Did they know of her plan?

She ran, now, hoping that the man would notice. She was so close to the hill now. But the man still didn't notice her.

"Sir! Sir!" she started to yell. "Sir! You must go home! It's not safe! Sir!"

Suddenly, two hands became connected to her back for a short second and they pushed her to the ground. Whoever it was blew past her and left a slight breeze, causing her hair to fall before her face.

It was Quinn who had pushed her down. He was after the man.

"Quinn!" Val gasped. "Please stop! Don't hurt him!"

Val got to her feet and stood for a moment, staring at the man. Didn't he notice the small noises and the yelling? Didn't notice the wind?

A force came up behind her and grabbed her. It started to run with her in its arms. She grasped it and held on for dear life. It was Synyster. he looked so....murderous....so mad.

Quinn stood behind the man. The man just noticed the company catching up to him as he stood there and did nothing.

He got one good look at Quinn and the look on his face was full of terror. he looked like he had just seen a ghost.

Synyster stopped behind the man with Val in his arms. She struggled to break free but he was so strong. Perhaps stronger than the rest of them.

"Uncle," Quinn said to the man. "You look like you've just seen a ghost."

"But you're dead! How can this be?!" his uncle stated in shock.

"Oh, I am dead," Quinn smiled. "You killed me and I want my revenge against you."

"No!" Val coughed. "Please, don't hurt that man!"

"You said you wanted to learn," Syn sniped in her ear. "You better take notes."

He put his hand over her mouth as Quinn grasped his hand around his uncle throat.

Tears poured down Val's eyes. Terror was written all over her face. She did want to find out but not this way. A simple talk would of done it, not an demonstration.

Quinn pulled a blade out of his caot with his free hand. He smiled as he did.

"Quinn...no....I didn't mean to kill you!" his uncle pleaded. "It was an accident!"

"Accident my ass!" Quinn hollered. "I was walking home and you pulled over to give me a ride, remember? I got in and you pulled ou ta knife! You said that you deserved my fathers money! Not his children or his widow! You stabbed me to death and then threw me in a ditch! You stabbed me and slit my throat! Now, I'm gonna do the same and you can't do anything about it!"

Quinn licked the blade and grinned after he did. He threw his uncle to the ground and started to stab him mercilessly. Blood squirted from his uncles body. Val tried to look away but Syn kept a strong hold on here head and made sure she watched.

His uncle was dead. But Quinn still slit his throat. he wanted the satisfaction of the kill even if he was already dead.

Synyster decided to let her go.

"Why did you do that?" she cried, slumping to the ground with her hands over her eyes. "Why?"

Syn knelt down beside her and hugged her from behind.

"We're cursed," he whispered in her ear. "We're cursed because people like Quinns uncle killed us."

"But, I don't understand." she sniffed.

WiL knelt down in front of her and pushed her chin up with his hand.

"We'll explain everything." he said. "Not all of it will be explained tonight....it will take a while to fully understand the uniqueness to this curse. But I gather that you're a fast learner. I'm sorry you had to see this again but I hope you got a little information from this."

"No, all I saw was murder," she sighed and looked at Quinn. "And that your uncle killed you and that I think you're all....dead."

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 12

gothic-16.jpg Looks Cool image by WooPerGirl

"I see we have a guest tonight." Elias grinned as he approached WiL and Val.

"Yup, we sure do," WiL smirked. "She came here to find out some information about us. Ville told her to look for us here."

"Yeah, well, don't you think it's a little dangerous for her to be here? Why don't we just send her home and talk to her later?"

"No," WiL sighed. "If she wants to know, she'll have to find ou tthe hard way, I guess."

"What are you planning on doing?" Val choked.

"You'll see," WiL sang. "You'll See."

****************************************************************************

"What do you mean she's gone?" Cordelia yelled. "Where did she go?"

"To the mausolem," Gerard sighed. "To find out what They are."

"They? Who's they?" she asked.

"The Cursed, The Undead...our enemies," Gerard stated. "We should of told her ourselves to save us from her sneaking out and finding out herself."

"No, she still would've gone. That's what I woulda done. You all know that she's very much like me." Cordelia said shaking her head.

"We've got to find her," Mikey chimed. "She could be in danger."

"I know," Cordy grimaced. "If she's not dead, I'm gonna kill her."

****************************************************************************

Val looked at the two men before her in suspicion. What were they up to? Another murder? A gruesome slaughter like she witnessed before? Should she go home and face her sisiters wrath? Or should she stay in harms way? But what is she more afraid of? Her sister or the men in front of her?

Well, that was a simple question. She knew her would kill her if she found out.

If felt like they were waiting at the mausolem forever. But what exactly were they waiting for? The rest of the guys? A victim?

"Here comes the rest of the guys." Elias said.

Val looked up. And in came Synyster, Quinn, then Ville. They moved so graceful. It was like they were dancing on air.

"What is she doing here?" said Synyster, with his lips barely moving.

"She came to find out about who, or what, we are." Elias smiled.

"Why? Why does she want to know?" Syn sniped.

"Why don't you ask her?" WiL said.

"Fine," Synyster turned his stare on to Val. "Why? Why do you what to know what we are?"

"B-because," she stuttered. "It's hard to explain. I...there...there's something in me that is pulling me to you guys. It's like, the farther I stay away, the more I want to find out about you guys. And, well, you guys are..um...you fascinate me."

"How?" Quinn jumped in. "By the way we kill?"

"No, by the way you move, your bone structure, your beauty, your strength....everything." she answered.

There was a slight ruckus outside of the mausolem.

"Wait," Ville stopped. "I sense a presence in the graveyard...Quinn's killer."

"Killer?" Val said confused.

"Let's go." WiL commanded.

"Wait, what?"

"Val if you wanna go, you can. But, you make be a little sick after you see what we do." Ville warned.

"I'll follow you, but I won't join you in whatever you're about to do." she replied.

Ville nodded and followed the others out into the graveyard. Val followed shortly after. Taking small steps, making sure that she is not seen. Does she really want to see this? Another murder? Is she really that brave to stand it all?

Yes, she wants to find out. She is brave, but also weak.

She saw a man in the cemetery, not the five that were just with her, another man, standing at someones tombstone.

Val noticed that WiL, Ville, Syn, Elias, and Quinn disppeared. Or did they?

Small whisping noises started to appear ou tof the brush of bushes and trees, the same whisping noises that she heard the night when she witnessed them kill that man.

They were gonna kill again.

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 11

Wil.jpg Wil Francis image by X_Obituary_Romance_X

"What are you doing, WiL?" Val asked, breathing hard.

"Hold on, I'm not going to hurt you." he replied.

"Oh, yeah, right." she sniffed.

"Just hold on, I have to see if They followed you." he said, exaggerating the 'they.'

"They? Who's they?"

"You know who I'm talking about." He said.

"You're being very cryptic, I seriously don't know." Val sighed.

"The Vampires." he replied, strangly calm.

"You mean...Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray,and Bob?"

"Yes, them. And there is more of them if you didn't know."

"I...don't...know...." she said.

"Good," he finally said. "You weren't followed."

"How do you know?"

"I don't smell any vampires anywhere close. All I can smell is your perfume and your fear." WiL answered in a smile.

"Smell? Like a vampire can smell blood?"

"Kinda. It's hard to explain." he said. "Eliasis on his way, he can help me explain."

"Ville said the same thing," she sighed. "He said that it was 'hard to explain.' That's why he told me that you were going to be here tonight, so that you can explain it to me. This is so complicated."

"I know it is. But I need Elias here to help explain it to you so that I don't miss anything important." He explained.

"Oh..WiL?" she said.

"What?"

"Are you ever gonna let me go? Because I don't want a knife pointed at my neck forever you know."

"Oh, sorry about that," He said letting her go. "Ah, there's Elias, just up the hill."

****************************************************************************

"Dude, maybe you should go and talk to her and explain how dangerous it is to go and see Them." Bob suggested.

"I don't know," Gerard sighed. "I think she needs to cool off a little bit more."

"She's been up there for like 45 minutes," Mikey said. "I think she's pretty much cooled down."

"Well, she has been quiet for a long time," Gerard said trying to decide his answer. "Alright then, here I go."

"You make it sound like it's a challenge or something to talk to her." Ray laughed.

"It is, trust me."

Gerard got up from the couch and slowly made his way up the stairs and to Val's room. He hesitated to knock on her door for a few moments.

"Val?" he said. "It's me, can I come in?"

No answer.

"Val?"

Total silence.

"Hello? Val....are you there?" Gerard said witha confused look on his face. He opened the door to find that her room was empty and the window open.

"Fuck! Dammit!" he yelled.

He ran back downstairs, with a look of anger and worry on his face.

"What's wrong?" Frank asked.

"She's not there. Val probably climbed out the window and went to the mausolem to see Them," he sighed. "I'm gonna have to wake Cordelia and go search for her."

"Oooooohhhh....Val's gonna be in trouble..." Frank said.

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 10

Hold.png Red dead roses image by RC_Riley

It was close to eleven pm, Val was still waitng for a chance to leave. She didn't want to disturb her sister while she slept and Gerard still didn't leave the house. There was always one other option, to climb out her window and fall a story or two. She didn't wanna risk it.

Val finally got the guts to creep out into the hallway and see if there was any way she could escape to go to the mausolem. With every step she took, there was a little creaking sound under it which could expose her at any moment.

Val held her breath as she crept down the stairs and stopping for a second at every step.

Maybe they don't hear me, she thought to herself.

Finally, she reached the last step and froze to see if any one of them noticed her standing there. They didn't. Or so it seemed.

She let out a little sigh of relief and started to slither to the kitchen so she could go out the back door.

"Hold it," she heard Gerard say. "Where do you think you're going?"

Val turned around to find that Gerard was right behind her.

"Oh, nowhere. I just wanted to get a snack because I'm a little hungry, yeah." she excused.

"Right...or you're going to the mausolem like Ville told you to do to find out about who or what they really are. Am I correct?"

"N-no...I-I'm hungry." Val stuttered.

"No, you're not. I can tell that you're lying." he smiled.

"Really? Oh...great..." she grumped.

"Yeah, so can Cordy and the rest of us. You see, I can see your wisdom teeth when you lie or that I can hear that your heart is beating a mile a minute" Gerard explained. "Why are you so curious about them?"

"I don't know...I just am...it's like something's pulling me toward them," she said. "Something wants me to find out or-or to prevent someting from happening...I don't know yet...that's why I need to go."

"Well, sorry, you can't. It's waaayyyy to dangerous, especially since you'll be all alone with them." Gerard stated, turning around and went to sit down on the couch which caused Val to follow, sitting next to him.

"And living in a house full of vampires isn't dangerous?" she sassed.

"Look, what Gerard is trying to say is that it's not safe for you to be around them especially since you don't know what they are." Mikey chimed in.

"That's why I brought a knife." she replied.

"But what if they're impervious to knifes?" Frank joined in. "What then? Are you gonna kick them to death?"

"I...well...no....I don't think they're gonna hurt me."

"How do you know?" Gerard sniped.

"Because...I can see it in their eyes. I can tell...like-like you can tell when I'm lying," Val sighed. "Just please let me go, Gerard. Please!"

"No," the vampire sighed. "Go to you're room and we'll talk about it later. And the 'we' is also including the guys and Cordelia."

"But, that's not fair! You said that you weren't going to tell!"

"I know what I said but you're being stubborn! Now go!"

Val stomped away from the group and started up the stairs, she turned around to say something but nothing came out. She turned around again and finally said:

"You are very mean! And-and you make me very angry!" she cried.

"Well, you are living in a house full of vampires. We're gonna have to be mean sometime." Gerard sassed back.

Val finally stomped her way up the rest of the stairs and slammed the door to her bedroom.

"Pff!! Teenagers!" Frank sighed.

"Shut up, Frank." Ray said.

****************************************************************************

Val sat on her bed in a fetile postion. She didn't even know why she was crying. She was just so angry.

"He's not the boss of me," she said to herself. "I can go if I want to."

Val stared at her window, thinking that maybe that would be her only way out. And of how much it would hurt if she fell.

But, she didn't care one bit. It was well worth the risk, wasn't it? To find out what WiL, Ville, Elias, Synyster and Quinn really were? Is it worth it? Or was Gerard right and she should just leave it alone and move on with her life?

Well, the window was her only way out at that point. And she did have some time left to go to the mausolem.

Val put her jacket on, remembering how cold it was outside, and opened her window and let the cold air bite her face.

She gently climbed out her window and grabbed ahold of the pipe that was attached to the gutter, hoping that it wouldn't break as she went down. With each step she took her heart beated heavier and heavier. She now had three steps left. The pipe started creaking like it was about to break, so she jumped, leaving the pipe a bit bent.

Val crawled her way around to the front of her house and to the sidewalk. She sprang up as soon as she reached the street and ran for dear life as she did before.

She ran to the top of the hill and looked back on the house to see if anyone noticed. Thank god they didn't. She walked calmly down the hill now as the wind blew and freezing her ears.

She could see the mausolem, it was lit with candles and she wondered if anyone was inside like Ville said they would.

The enterence to the mausolem was exceptionally big for such a small building. It was extremely hard for her to enter the place and imagined how hard it will be to leave.

She wondered through a small hallway and heard noises coming from beyond it. Was it WiL and the guys?

Val entered the room and found that no one was in it, so it seemed. She looked around and got a strange feeling like she was being watched.

Suddenly, a large arm draped around her shoulder and held a knife to her neck, causing her to yelp.

"What are you doing here?"

Val looked up, being cauitous about the knife, and saw that WiL was the one with the knife to her neck.

"I-I was just here because Ville told you'll be here and I have some questions." Val answered.

"Fuck...not now....I have some business to take care of." WiL sighed.

"Then can you let me go?"

"Not just yet, love. Not yet."

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 9

MoonRose1.jpg Gothic Rose image by Poetic_Reaper

It was about 2 o'clock in the afternoon when Val woke up. She fell alseep in her clothes that she put on last night.

Cordelia walked in her bedroom to find Val already trying to find different clothing to put on.

"Finally, you woke up. I was beginning to think that you were dead." Cordelia snickered.

"I was just really tired." Val replied.

"Trouble sleeping?"

"No, I guess the water Gerard poured on me kept me up. That shit was cold!"

"I know, but you were literally screaming in your sleep and there was no other way to get you up."

"Well, did you slap me or something because I would usually feel that." she smiled.

"Yup, your face was red a bit after I bitch slapped you," Cordy chuckled. "You did't wake up though. You were probably really engrossed in our dream."

"That's an understatement." Val whispered under her breath.

"Where did you get that rose?" Cordelia asked, noticing the beautiful flower on the night stand besides Val's bed.

"Ummm, remember when we were looking for evidence for the nurder I saw and I wondered away? I took the rose out of the rose garden because it's so pretty." Val explained.

"Oh, okay. Well, Darcy called. She wants you to call her back, she says it's important."

"Okay, I got to get dressed now. Bye bye."

As soon as Cordelia left her room, Val grabbed her cell phone off her dresser and dialed Darcy's number.

The phone rang for a couple seconds and then sent Val to Darcy's voice mail.

"Hey Darcy, it's me, ummm...call me back. I'll be at the park if you wanna meet me there and then we can go to the mall if you're not already there. Bye."

Val searched her closet for any  fitting clothing, that was clean, to wear. All she could find was a medium sized balck dress that crossed over in the back.

"I guess I have to do some laundry later." She said under her breath to herself.

Val got dressed and put on her Circa's and was about ready to leave, when something she saw in the corner of her eye, got her attention. The rose on her night stand wilted. But it was alive 2 minutes ago.

There was a breeze outside. A very strong one. The wind blew open her window and blew the rose onto her bed, alive again.

"Holy shit!" she gasped.

The wind also revealed a note on the floor next to her bed. The note read:

"Don't forget about tonight. They'll be at the mausolem. Be careful, love.

                                                                                                      -Ville"

She grabbed the rose and headed for the park, with the note in her other hand.

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 8

1663.jpg creepy image by ice_Akito

Val got dressed in a Korn t-shirt, a Taking Back Sunday thermal, a Darling Violetta hoodie, and a black medium sized skirt (the only lower coverage that she could find in the dark) with yellow leggings.

She put on her Circa's and headed towards Cordelia's and Gerards room.

Val opened the door a bit and peaked in to see if her sister was sleeping, and, of course, she was. But, there was no sign of Gerard. He must be out with the guys searching for blood or trying to help Cordy in finding the man who actually killed Phoebe.

Val tip toed down the hallway, making little creeps and sqeaks along the floorboard. She silently floated down the stairs into the living room area.

Val quietly made her way through the living room, slipping and sliding her way through the mess of furniture and loose items on the ground.

Val slithered her way to the front door, nearly close enough to open it and run . But, somebody on the outside was already opening it.

"Oh shit," Val choked.

Gerard and the guys entered through the door. Val wasn't in front of the door anymore. She was hidden in the closet next to the door, praying to God that he wouldn't open the door.

She wasn't afraid of him but she didn't want to get caught. Cordy would have a fit.

Again, Val opened the door a bit and peaked to see if the guys were still there. They were standing in front of the door in total silence. Then they made their way to the kitchen.

Val crept her way to the slight opening of the closet door, then out the front door. She sprinted her way up the hill and into the cemetery. She gazed upon the cemetery for a moment, and slowed her pace to an excited walk. Val kept her eyes on the tombstones, staring at the names to see if she recognized any of them.

But her gaze soon lifted to the house overlooking the cemetery, the one with the roses that grew in the dead of winter. Everything was so quiet.

Val began to walk to the house, but she soon doubted her decision and wondered if she should just go home and go back to sleep.

But has come so far, she can't go back now. She needed to kow everything, everythng they could tell her.

Val climbed her way through the bushes and the trees to get to the house. It was so beautiful. And the roses never looked so alive.

She wondered her way to the garden, and picked one of the roses and put it in her hair. It was one of the most beautiful flowers she'd ever seen.

There was a noise in the bushes, but she didn't think much of it. But she should, shouldn't she? Val was to engrossed in the flowers to notice any noise or person or animal that could be lurking around her.

A deathly hand strentched out and landed on her shoulder, whiched caused her to jump and gasped.

"Calm down, sweetheart. I won't hurt you." he said.

Val turned around and came face-to-face with a familiar person.

"Do you remember me?" he asked.

"Yes, your name is Ville, right?" she said quite gingerly.

"Yes, darling, that's right," Ville smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"I couldn't sleep. I need to know...I need..." she froze, looking for the right words as fear wased over her. But she tried her best not to show it.

"You need to know what?"

"W-why that man was killed..." she whispered.

"Oh," Ville grimaced. "Well, I can't tell you why, yet."

"Why? I need to know."

"You shouldn't even be in this. You shouldn't have seen us kill him. Why do you feel the need to know?" Ville said, raising his voice a bit.

"I can't just let it go. I saw you guys, well Elias, mutilate him. WiL said that there was an explaination. I mean, Elias said there was an explaination." Val stuttered.

"Just get on with your life, you don't need to know. You don't need to get involved, darling."

"I can't just let it go, Ville. I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that-that something is happening. That something is wrong and that I need to get involved. I need to know...please." she begged.

"I can't explain it to you. WiL...WiL can explain it to you better. So can Elias."

"Well, can I speak to them then?" she asked.

"They're not here," Ville sighed. "Come back tomorrow night. Around 11...go to the mausolem. They'll be there, but be cautious."

"Why?"

"They might think that you're somebody else. I've got to go, sweetheart," Ville grinned and kissed her on the cheek. "Good night."

"Night."

Ville was gone in a flash. He disappeared into the brush of trees and bushes. Val stood in the same spot and gripped her cheek, his kiss was so cold.

Val awoke out of her trance and started to make her way down the hill again. She started humming, as she usually does, the melody to Rookie of the Year's song called, "Silhouettes(All Eyes Above)."

"Did you really want to know what I was about? Did you really want to know?" she started silently singing. "Please your feelings out loud, don't fade away. Blinded by the light, take it over. You silhouetts carries me home."

A noise came out behind her again. A figure skating quietly behind her. Val paused and stopped singing. She turned around and was shocked to find what person, or vampire, was behind her.

"Gerard?" she asked.

"Hi." he said.

"What are y-you doing here?" she asked.

"I could ask the same thing of you, can't I?" he said.

"I just wanted to pick some roses," she said pulling the rose out of her hair. "See."

"You woke up, got dressed, and picked a rose in the middle of the night?"

"Well...it's pretty." she smiled nervously.

"Well, to answer your question. I saw you leave. I knew that you were most likely headed here, and I followed you." he explained.

"Why?"

"To protect you in case somebody, or something, attacked you. I know how upset Cordelia would be if she lost you. And, plus, you're my sister-in-law. I care about you."

"Awwww!" Val gasped, throwing her arms around Gerard to hug him.

"Okay, get off me." he laughed.

"Sorry, but that was sooo sweet."

"Yeah, but don't tell the guys, okay? They'll never let me live this down."

"Okay, I won't tell as long as you tell Cordelia that I snuck ou tin the middle of the night. She'll have my throat, trust me."

"Whatever. Let's just go home. It's getting late and you need your rest."

"Alright."

"And I know that you didn't go to pick roses." Gerard said as he started to walk.

"Oh?"

"You went to see Them to find out information," he sighed. "Take Ville's advice and mine. Just get on with your life, you don't need to know anything. And you'll be better off not knowing anyways. Trust me."

Val dried off from the water Gerard poured all over her. She wound up staying up for the most part of the night thinking about her dream. She was thinking about what he said about the vampires. She didn't remember Gerard mentioning anything about any vampire enemies or anything of the sort.

She sighed at the thought that WiL and the others might be enemies of Gerard and the other vampires.

Curiosity crept up on here though. She wanted to know the truth. She can't just ignore what she saw the other night and she sure as hell can't ignore her dream. It meant something to her, something deep inside her had this aching feeling to know everything about who and what they are and where they came from.

But does she really want to know? Could she lose her life for just wanting to find out? What if there was nothing to find out and they were just messing with her? But Gerard's reaction to the house had stirred something in her. Maybe there was something to find out. Maybe they were really dead, the living dead. But what did she have to do with it?

Val decided to go searching for her answers. She needed to know, very badly. She was going to do  the one thing that she probably shouldn't do at all. Something that Cordy and Gerard would forbid her to do.

She wanted to confront her dead murder suspects. She wanted to know everything.

"Romeo Is Dead" Book 2 chapter 6

Fear.jpg Fear image by DaisyHannahTheBraveToph

Val sat up in her bed all night, thinking about those five men, the house, and those beautiful roses. She also thought about what WiL and Elias had said to her, where they human? If not, what were they? Are they dangerous? Why didn't they kill her? And most of all, what are they planning to do with her if they aren't going to kill her?

She started to hum a little, which broken out into a whisper sort of singing. She started singing Broken by Seether (featuring Amy Lee.)

"I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh. I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away. I keep your photograph and I know it serves me well. I wanna hold you high and steal your pain...." she sang, silently.

Val fell asleep singing that song, over and over again. Her eyes would get heavy with each word, making it harder and harder to stay awake. Then, sleep usually would overtake her and let her drift off in her own little world inside her head.

Something was troubling her dreams tonight. A nightmare maybe? No...it didn't seem that way.

Val was tossing and turning and making strange noises in her sleep, like she was talking. Her movement got more violent, the sheets were getting tangled around her ankles.

"What's going on?" she kept repeating in her sleep. "What are you?"

Little panicky screams came out after her questions, she repeated them over and over, getting no answer. She wanted to know the answer and she wanted to know them now!

"Get off me!" Val kept yelling. "W-what are you doing?"

****************************************************************************

                                                           (Val's Dream)

Val was alone, in the old cemetery, the wind howling and the rain gently falling all around her. She found herself staring at one tombstone with a familiar name on it.

"WiL..."she read a loud. "WiL Francis."

Was this a sign? Was he truely dead?

Val became more around of her surroundings and noticed gour other tombstones around her. All of them said their names on there...only their names.

She whispered them softly to herself. "Ville Valo, Synyster Gates, Quinn Allman, And Elias Reidy. They're all dead."

She backed away slowly from the graves, she wanted to run away and find her sister. As she backed away, she hit a tombstone and fell over it, landing hard on her ass and her right arm.

"You said you wanted to know what we were." a familiar voice said to her.

"What?" she turned around, still on the ground, and looked up at WiL who extended his hand to help her up. She excepted his offering and go tto her feet.

"What's going on?" she said. "What are you?"

"Well, for lack of a better term, a zombie I guess. Well, one that doesn't rot and one that doesn't want to eat peoples brains."

"I don't understand." she said.

"I know. I don't know how to explain it ot you," he said. "Come with me and I'll show you."

"Where?"

"To my house, up the hill. I think you know where it is."

"I don't quite trust you yet." Val reiterated.

"Don't you wanna know the truth? Don't you wanna know why we killed that man?"

"Yes, but I don't wanna be killed by either of you and be dispersed throughout the graveyard." Val stated.

"Our blades aren't meant for you!" WiL said. "I can only explain this to you in my house."

He began to get more impatient.

"Then who is it meant for?" she asked.

"Gah! I can't explain it to you here! Don't you understand?"

"No! I don't! I don't understand! Please explain it to me!" she began to get more impatient too.

"Then come to me to my house and I will!"

"No! I won't! I don't trust you!"

He grabbed her arm and began to drag her across the feild of dead bodies and tombstones.

"Get off me!" she yelled. "W-what are you doing?"

"We're in danger here! They'll get us!" WiL silently yelled.

"Who'll get us?"

"The vampires."

****************************************************************************

"Val...Val...sweety...wake up." Cordelia said y her side.

"Get off me...they won't hurt us..I promise...they won't..."

"Val...sweety....wake up...what are you talking about?" she questioned.

"They won't...they won't..."

"Gerard! Can you help me wake her up please?"

"Already on it...

Gerard came in the room, with a bucket full off cold water and dumped it all over Val.

She shot out of bed, screaming.

"What the hell?!" Val yelled, shivvering.

"You wouldn't wake up." Gerard said, leaving the room.

"You were yelling in your sleep...and saying something...you were saying 'they won't hurt us'...what were you dreaming about?"

"WiL...he said that the vampires were going to hurt him...and he's....dead.....they're all dead...the living dead..."

"Romeo Is Dead" Book 2 Chapter 5

forsofia.jpg Death By Love image by TheHardCoreChick

"Umm...where's Val?" Cordelia said looking around for her little sister.

"I...don't....know..." Gerard replied. "Bob, wasn't she with you, man?"

"No, she's was right behind Ray the last time I saw her." Bob said.

"She was here a minute ago, I swear." Ray said.

"She probably went looking by herself." Mikey said.

"Or she saw something shiny and went to find it." Frank chimed in.

"That was you, Frank." Mikey said.

"Whatever. We've got to find her. If she's right, she could be in danger." Cordelia stated.

"Cor?" Gerard asked.

"Yeah honey?"

"Didn't Val say that she lost her purse when she fell?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Look what I found....covered in blood." Gerard bent downed a picked up Val's bloody purse from the ground, exactly where she dropped it.

"She was...right?" Cordelia asked.

"Yeah...and looked what I found." Mikey pointed out. There was a freshly dug grave right next to where Val's purse was found.

"Smells like...blood. There's a fresh dead body in here. Whoever killed this person was did a sloppy job of covering their tracks." Ray said.

"Which means we've got to find Val, quick." Bob stressed.

"A kill whatever or whoever killed this person." Frank added.

****************************************************************************

Val waited patiently at the top of the hill with the man who murdered the other man last night. WiL was his name.

"I don't think your brother in law is coming," WiL said in a lavish voice. "He's taking forever."

"He probably just realized that I was missing." Val whimpered.

"Well, don't you wannna know why Elias killed that man?"

"Yes, I do."

"Then come inside with me. I won't harm you, I promise." WiL smiled.

"They're here? Then make them come outside. I don't trust you." she commanded.

"If I wanted to kill you or do something to you, wouldn't I have already done it?"

"Maybe, but I've got to be ginger about you. You are very mysterious and I still don't trust you, no matter what you say or do." Val said.

"Fine, but do you want to meet the others?"

"Yes, I do."

WiL made a sudden motion to the door and as soon as he did, the four men creeped out in an orderly fashion. They stood in a straight line, like an army, and they looked absolutely mezmorizing.

"Val," WiL said. "This is Synyster." he said pointing to the very muscular man to the far left.

"And this is Ville." he said pointing to the man next to Synyster.

"And Quinn is the one next to Ville...and this is Elias. I believe you have a question for him."

"I do, actually. But my brother-in-law is coming." Val said, pointing down the hill.

"How do you know?" WiL asked.

"I can smell my sisters perfume, she is with him."

"You have a very sharp sense of smell," WiL pointed out. "So do we."

"Odd. Are you a vampire?" Val said abruptly.

"Why?"

"Because you have the characteristics of a vampire. I should know, my brother-in-law is a vampire."

The five men looked uneasy at each other. They seemed to look more aware of their surroundings, and of the human that was with them.

"We are not vampires, love." Elias soon said after exchanging looks with WiL.

"Then what are you?" she asked.

"Another time, my dear." Elias said turning around and re-entering the house.

"Wait...what?" Val asked.

Right before her eyes, the men were gone. Disappeared right before her. Where did they all go? And how did they leave so fast?

"Valkyari!" Cordelia yelled from behind her. "Where were you? I was fucking worried you little shit!"

"Sorry, I just saw this house and I wanted to see what was up here. Look at these beautiful roses."

"Yes, I know. But, you were right. There was a murder. We found your purse...and the body."

"Oh?"

"Yes, we've got to go now."

Val looked back at the vampires behind her. She wanted to see if there was any simularities betweem them and the men that was before her only just a few minutes ago. There was, there was many simularities. But there was only one difference....but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

They started walking downhill, and Val looked back at the house and saw WiL staring down at her.

Gerard brushed by her and Cordy and muttered something under his breath.

Mikey soon stood next to them and whispered into Val's ear.

"Don't come back to this house."

Torn- a poem i wrote

f_acd15d739b.jpg Broken heart image by ERWENCH pain.gif pain image by christaaaa_

Torn.

Between two sufferings,

heartbreak and eternal pain.

Consumed by the fear of both.

The fear of fear is frightening to even

the most masculine of men.

The fear of oneself is frightening to even

the most masculine of men.

Unable to save yourself,

myself.

The sufferings of a broken heart,

scared and torn apart.

My broken heart beyond repair.

The emotiona that I feel inside,

I scramble and try to hide,

from my resurfacing fear.

The sufferings of eternal pain,

burning in your body.

Burning through your impervious skin,

dissolving your mind, body and soul.

A pain that God

could not bare.

The images in my head,

better left unsaid.

Sitting alone, inside your head,

dark and cold, better off dead.

Accompanied by only one friend.

Yourself, myself.

Plotting against your only friend.

 A demise greater than homicide,

more emotional than suicide.

Emotional torture.

Emotional suffering is much deadlier.

Murderous stress.

Dancing with depression.

Plotting illusion.

How can we make it real?

Death's mask cover's you.

Death's cloak swallow's you,

rapes you,

kills you.

Kills me.

Darling, which do you choose?

Which suffering is greater, my love?

A broken heart?

Eternal pain?

Or will you swallow it all and torture yourself?

Will I do the same?

Which one will it be, baby?

Which one do you choose?

I choose?

They are equal in our demise.

The Promise-a poem I wrote

biblescreenshot1.jpg The promise image by Gailtoo

Darling, I haven't forgotten

I haven't stopped caring

I cried for you, remember?

I was so scared.

You did what I did

But more severe

But I need to work on myself

before I can help you.

And you need to understand that

Please understand that.

I'm deep in a pool of pain

and losing you will cause me

to drown.

Please don't leave me,

not now.

If you leave me,

I'll leave myself.

Remember the promise?

The promise that I made to you.

If you die,

I die.

And I'm not ready to die just yet.

I have but one goal left in my life.

And I need you there, by my side,

to help me reach that goal.

I need you.

Don't you see?

I need you to help me.

So I can help myself.

So I can help you.

All Good Things Will End-a poem I wrote

chickdepressediknowhowshefeels.jpg depressed. image by jheck_o7o18

All good things will come to an end

And then the bad things start to begin

A kick in the stomach

A punch in the face

Screaming in your ear

Sadness that can't seem to go away

Trying to run and hide from everyone you love the most

They don't understand you

No one understands you

You don't understand you

All good things come to an end

And then the bad things begin

"Romeo Is Dead" Book 2 Chapter 4

Old20English20graveyard.jpg Creepy Graveyard image by Cheeky_Cheesa

"Wait, what?!" Val's best friend Darcy gasped.

"Yeah, he killed him. I felt so sick. I was soooooo scared." Val explained.

"And he brought you home? Unconscious?"

"Yeah. How did he know where I live?" she thought out loud.

"I don't know. Are you sure about going to the graveyard tonight?"

"I have to do it. I mean, I can't just let it go. I saw a guy get murdered."

"Then why don't you call the police. Val, it's dangerous. That guy is dangerous."

"I know, thats why tonight I'm bringing Cor, Gerard and the guys with me. Just incase those guys aren't human and stuff."

"Good luck. I hope to see you tomorrow, Val. Be safe."

"Thanks, Darcy. I hope to see you tomorrow too. Bye."

****************************************************************************

"Valkyari! Are you ready?" Cordelia screamed up the stairs, calling her sisters name. "Val! Val? Hello?!"

Cordelia stomped her way up to Val's room, pounding on her door, realizing that her sister was listening to Disturbed, very loudly, and singing to it.

"Get up, come on get down with the sickness, get up, come on get down with the sickness..." Val sang.

"Val!" Cordelia screamed, throwing herself through her door.

"What?"

"Aren't you coming to the cemetery?"

"Oh yeah, sorry. I love that song."

"Turn it down a little so you can hear people."

"Damn, you sound like mom."

"Oh no."

"Ha."

The girls made their way downstairs where they were greeted by their vampire friends, and hubby.

"I don't see how we can help you. What should we do, just sniff out for blood or a body?" Gerard, Cordelia's vampire husband, asked.

"Well, yeah. That's what vampires do right? Sniff out blood and stuff."

"Not exactly."

"Oh, okay. We better get going. I don't think they're out hunting yet. At least, I don't think they are. Do you think they are?"

"Let's go we'll answer your questions later."

****************************************************************************

They were walking in the graveyard for hours now. Not one scent of fresh blood came to the vapires' noises.

"Mikey, anything over there?" Gerard yelled to his brother.

"No, I think Val imagined it." Mikey chuckled.

"Shut up! I didn't imagine it!" Val yelled. "I swear."

"Where exactly did the murder happen?" Frank asked.

"Umm, over near that big tombstone. The one where I hid behind."

"Okay, come on guys, let's check over there!" Gerard commanded.

They all followed, but Val. Val seemed distracted by something near the house that was located at the top of the hill that over looked the cemetery.

She wondered away from the group in hope of finding something up there. Or finding the thing that attracted her to the house.

She kept her glare to the house, which caused her to lose her balance a couple times. There was something up there, she knew it.

Val was hiking up the hill now, stumbling over rocks and stones, and sticks. Was it safe for her to be traveling up there alone?

She reached the house, it was a beautiful old house. It was made out of bricks, it looked like an old church.

She wondered around to the back of it and found herself looking at the beautiful garden of roses that layed before her eyes. How can roses grow in the middle of winter?

She picked one and stared at it, making sure she didn't pierce her finger with any of the thornes.

"Beautiful, aren't they?" A man's deep, suave voice said, coming form behind her.

Val whirled around, coming face-to-face with the man. It was the leader of the five men who murdered that man last night.

"Y-yes, they are," Val looked for words as she stuttered. "W-who are you?"

The man smiled, he had a beautiful smile.

"The man who brought you home last night after you fell down the hill." he said.

"Yes, I know. And you also murdered that man last night. I saw you!"

"Oh, that wasn't me. That was Elias. I just gave the man to him, love. There's no harm in that." he emplained.

"But Elias killed him. I saw!"

"I know, you also dropped your purse. It's inside my house. Come." He smiled.

"Uh-uh, no way. Not till I know your name and not till my brother in law is here."

"Fine, then. We'll wait for yuor brother-in-law."

"Your name?" Val asked.

"Wil. My name is Wil."

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 3

7790.jpg gothic graveyard image by boblovesme

Val awoke safely in her room.

"What happened?" she groaned as she woke up.

"You fell down the hill at the graveyard, some guy brought you home. He seemed to know you very well."

"Cordelia?"

"Open your eyes dipshit." Cordelia sighed.

"Oh, yeah, sorry."

Val opened her eyes to let them adjust to the light.

"So, the guy who brought you home, who was he?" Cordy snooped.

"Guy, what guy, there wasn't any gu..."

She remembered what happened that night. The noises, the running, the man, the murder. Those five handsome men who had made her fall down the hill. Was it the leader who brought her home?

"Hello...earth to Val...is anybody in there?"

"Yes, I come in peace," Val answered quite smart ass like. "Cor, the guy who brought me home, what did he look like?"

"Quite handsome, tall, slender but muscular, pale, like a vampire white, but I don't think he was one. Oh, and he had dark hair and eyes."

"His voice, did he speak at all?"

"Yeah, why?"

"What did he sound like?"

"Very suave and gorgeous like, a deepish voice." Cordelia said with a hint on confusion written on her face.

"Oh my goodness," Val gasped. "It was him."

"Who? Wait, what are you talking about?"

"I can't believe it. He knows were we live? That's fucked up!"

"Val!" Cordelia snapped. "What are you talking about?! Who is this guy?!"

"Okay, when I was walking home last night, I cut through the cemetery and I started hearing all these weird noises. I started running and I fell and a guy came out of nowhere running and I was behind a tombstone and five other guys were after him," she started, then hushed a little. "He lifted the guy off the ground by his throat. He handed the guy over to another guy and they...killed him. They gutted him like a fish. Cordelia! The guy who brought me home was a murderer!"

"Damn, you musta hit your head pretty hard little one." Cordelia chuckled.

"No! I'm serious! He killed that guy!Come with me to the cemetery! Please! There's got to be evidence..."

"Fine, tonight. Okay?"

"But...what if they're there? And what if there is no evidence left?"

"That's why we're gonna bring Gerard and the guys with us, okay, Val?" Cordelia said.

"Fine, but, what happens if I'm right? If they are murderers?" Val asked.

"Then we'll call the police."

"But...what if they're not human?"

"Romeo Is Dead" book 2 chapter 2

blood.jpg blood image by ___Eros68___

He started towards her and she knew it. But she was too scared to move, and too mezmorized by his morbid beauty. Val prayed to God that he wasn't going to kill her or harm her in any way possible. Maybe if she ran, ran now, and she ran as fast as she can, she would be able to escape him.

Val closed her eyes and counted to three. And she darted in the direction of her house which was just over the hills. She stubled and fell, as she did before, now realizing her hands and knees were bleeding and the pain was was biting her as was the cold.

Val stopped at the top of the hill, searching for her breath. She looked around and the attractive men were nowhere in sight. Maybe she lost them.

Haunting thoughts spread throughout her mind. The man, the man that they killed, should she tell somebody?  Should she tell them about the men gutting him and letting his organs and blood drop to the ground as they all laughed?

She started to gag, and cough, as if she was plagued by a cold or allergies.

Val had felt a sudden chill crawl up her spine. There was someone behind her.

Someone grabbed her shoulders, turning her to face them but all she could do was scream with her eyes shut and her feet clumsy.

She fell backwards, hitting her head on a rock, knocking herself unconscious.

"Romeo Is Dead" Book 2 Chapter 1...seeing how you guys like it

2b3f2794.jpg Gothic image by charismaraven13

Okay...I'm posting this so you guys can see how you like it and at the end...tell me if you want me to continue "Cursed and Unseen"...or this one...maybe both too?? And i don't remember where it took place so I made it in Ricketts Glen...lol...tell me if you remember...or if you remember the first book...lmao

*******************************************************************************

It was a frightening chilly night in Ricketts Glen. Sixteen year old Valkyari, or Val as she likes it, was walking home, late, after her shift at the local Starbucks. She wasn't expecting the weather to be this cold. All she wore was tight, black skinnies, a False Start tee, and a thin hoodie and circa's. Val's nose, matching her cheeks, was a pinkish color against her pale skin. Her black curls hung low below her shoulders. Val shivvered as the wind picked up, causing her to hug herself to keep warm. She wasn't even close to home, and worst of all, she had to go through the creepy cemtery near her house.

She hated it at night. It was utterly scary. And the wind howling like it is made things even more unbareable.

Val had a sudden dread wash all over her body. A memory that stained the back of her mind. A year ago, almost exactly a year ago, her now eighteen year old sister, Cordelia, had passed through this very cemetery, wlaking home from a late night school activity. That night, she had met a deathly mezmorizing man, a man that she fell in love with, a man who happened to be a vampire. She was kidnapped and forcefully married to the creature of the night. And that very night, her best friend, Phoebe, was murdered by a vengenful vampire who hired another vampire to do his dirtywork. Now Cordelia was crazy obsessed with finding her friends murderer with a little help from her vampire hubby and his friends.

Was this to be Val's fate too? Falling in love with a creature of the night and having her best friend, Darcy, murdered too?

Val started to sing to herself, silently. That always calmed her down.

"Was it you who spoke the words that things would happen but not to me, Oh things were gonna happen naturally," she sang. " And taking your advice and I'm looking on the brightside and balance and that whole thing. But often times those words get tangled up in lines and the bright lights turn to night. Until the dawn brings a little bird who'll sing about the magic that was you and me."

The wind started to blow heavier and thivker as she dang, and caused her pants to become even tighter around her legs. And her purse, which hung on her shoulder, moved along with the wind, slipping off every now and then.

Val stopped at the enterance of the old cemtery. She sighed, and entered death's wasteland.

She slithered through old tombstones and monuements honoring the dear and departed. Once in awhile, she would stop and analyze the old tombstones, observing the names, dates, and epiloges. She wondered how many of the dead were murdered. A brief sadness rolled over her.

Val had heard a sudden crunching sound all around her.

"Squirrels," she hissed.

She walked gingerly on her path with her ears open and her mouth shut, listening for any unnatural noises, and her que to run. The crunching and whisping noises came closer together, faster, like footsteps. Was she being stalked?

Val's paced quickened. So did the haunting footsteps. She started to run...faster! Faster! Tripping over rocks, sticks, and tombstones. Picking herself up and ignoring the prickling pain from the scrapes and scratches on her hands and knees.

The noise was all around her. Stomping, running, leaves and sticks crunching, all around her. Her heart was ready to jump right out of her chest. The cold biting her skin. The needless pain, unbareable but handled.

She screamed. A frightening, heart pounding scream. She fell backwards, hitting her head on a tombstones, still conscious, still aware. It was an owl. Val was embarassed, hoping nobody heard her scream.

But the embarassment soon left as fear re-entered her body. The footsteps returned. Her heart pumped, thumping louder and louder. Val got to her feet, the footsteps grew faster as did her heart. She ran behind a big tombstone, hoping that the footsteps would pass and forget about her.

Only then did she know that the footsteps weren't after her. A man emerged from the shadows, more scared than Val, running, trying to find safety. Five others were after him. They ran so fast it was like they were flying. One was leading the four others behind him. Val's purse lay in the running mans way.

"Oh shit!" she gasped, biting her words.

He had tripped over her bag and the leader of the flying men came to a sudden hault. He gracefully, but angrily, made his way to the man laying in the ground. His long hand extended out to the grounded man's throat, lifting him off the ground. Choking, suffocating.

His grip got tighter around his throat. He motioned to one of his followers to approach him and his victim.

"This is him? Am I correct?" he asked in an irresistible, deep voice.

The follower only nodded and said, "Only one of them." he sounded just as seductive as the leader.

The leader slowly handed the choking to the follower, and stepped back.

The follower grinned and pulled out a very large, sharp knife that shone brightly in the moonlight. He stuck the choking man with the knife, pulling the knife down slowly, ripping through the flesh as the man screamed out in pain. He was gutted like a fish. And the follower seemed pleasured by the blood and blood splatter.

Val felt sick. And frightened more than ever. Was she next?

The leader stooped to the ground, picking out Val's purse, observing it and chuckling to himself.

"I think we need to return this to it's owner." he smirked, staring in Val's direction.
